Why River Community?

We have always championed the community effort involved in coffee, hence our trademark 'a collaborative brew'. Produced by many hands across a global network, from pickers and producers to importers and exporters, roasters and baristas to you.

It's a team effort.

Even once a coffee is brewed, coffee continues to champion community. As the most drunk beverage globally, second only to water, coffee is often drunk in social spaces and at social times of days.

Whether it's a make-up or break-up brew,

A review on sales or Q4 to pursue.

A long overdue catch-up or a celabratory cake,

A coffee to check in with a best mate.

A new home or a new job brew,

A pitch side warmer,

Or just one to say, 'I'm here for you, too'.

Coffee is a community-based phenomenon. And community, like coffee, is important to us.

What is River Community?

We are proud of the communities we are part of, from our local community in Hampshire to the global coffee communities we work with.

We want to do more to have a positive impact on these communities.

Our aims:

• River Community is on a mission to make impactful contributions that enable better quality of life in coffee growing communities and champions global talent. Direct trade of relationship coffee is our bottom line, but we know we can do even more. We envision a world where communities at origin are visible in every bag we sell.

• River Community is fuelled up to fundraise for our local partners and causes we care about. Walks, runs, team challenges and coffee mornings... if you're a wholesale partner or brew at home customer, get involved and join our team! Community is an epic, feel-good-kinda thing.

• River Community makes positive action as easy and accessible as possible, embedding charitable options into your shopping experience. We aim to empower you when you make a purchase, seamlessly connecting everyday clicks with meaningful impact.
